Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vayro platform (vayro.co.in), including our website, mobile applications, and WhatsApp services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vayro Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Vayro", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in India.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of Vayro, you must create an account by providing your WhatsApp phone number and completing OTP verification. By registering, you agree that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• The phone number you provide is yours and is active on WhatsApp
• You consent to receiving OTP, order updates, and service messages on WhatsApp
• You will keep your account information accurate and up to date
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You will not share your OTP with anyone

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are involved in fraudulent activity.

3. Services Description

Vayro is a community commerce and services platform providing:

• Daily Needs Store — Puja items, groceries, fresh produce, dairy, and gifts with express delivery
• Service Bookings — Pandit Ji, Jagran, Muhurat consultation, catering, and spiritual services
• Delivery Services — Local delivery of ordered items within our service area
• Job Listings — Employment opportunities in delivery, services, and community roles
• Celebrations — Event planning, decoration, and celebration management

We act as a platform connecting buyers with sellers and service providers. The quality of third-party products and services is the responsibility of the respective providers, though we maintain quality standards and resolve disputes.

4. Orders & Payments

Placing Orders

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes
• Prices may change without prior notice; the price at checkout is final
• We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud
• Order confirmation is sent via WhatsApp once payment is verified

Payment Methods

• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
• Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
• Net Banking
• Cash on Delivery (for eligible orders)
• Vayro Wallet (credits and refunds)

All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your card details on our servers.

5. Delivery Policy

• Express Delivery: We aim to deliver within 30 minutes for orders within our express service area. This is a best-effort target, not a guarantee.
• Standard Delivery: 1-2 hours for regular orders within the serviceable area.
• Free Delivery: Available on orders above ₹499. A delivery fee of ₹30 applies to orders below this threshold.
• Service Area: Delivery is currently available in select areas. Check pin code availability during checkout.
• Delivery Tracking: Real-time order status updates are sent via WhatsApp.

Delivery times may be affected by weather, traffic, high demand, or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you via WhatsApp of any significant delays.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Order Cancellation

• Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched
• Once an order is out for delivery, cancellation is not possible
• Service bookings can be cancelled up to 12 hours before the scheduled time
• Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the order value

Refund Policy

• Refunds for online payments are processed within 3-5 business days to the original payment method
• Cash on delivery refunds are credited to your Vayro wallet
• Damaged or wrong items: Full refund or replacement, report within 24 hours with photos
• Fresh produce quality issues: Report within 2 hours of delivery
• Service quality issues: Reviewed on a case-by-case basis

7. User Conduct

By using Vayro, you agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten delivery partners or service providers
• Attempt to manipulate prices, reviews, or platform features
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform
• Place orders with no intent to pay or receive delivery (fake orders)
• Resell items purchased on Vayro at a markup without authorization
• Share your OTP or account credentials with others

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension, order cancellation, or legal action as appropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Vayro platform — including logos, brand name, design elements, text, images, software, and user interface — is the property of Vayro Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by Indian intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our platform without prior written consent. Product images and descriptions belong to their respective sellers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Vayro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for third-party product quality, service delivery, or disputes between users and providers
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order or service in question
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian law.

10. Dispute Resolution

We strive to resolve all disputes amicably. Our dispute resolution process:

1. Customer Support — Contact us via WhatsApp for immediate assistance
2. Escalation — Unresolved issues are escalated to our resolution team within 48 hours
3. Mediation — For disputes above ₹10,000, we offer mediation through an independent mediator
4. Arbitration — If mediation fails, disputes are settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996

The seat of arbitration shall be Bangalore, Karnataka. The language of proceedings shall be English or Hindi.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via WhatsApp notification or a notice on our platform at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Vayro after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
